This past weekend Tree Power & Sound brought it’s PA and clean mobile energy rig to the Sweetwater Brewery for an afternoon of celebration with the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. The UCR works to clean up the river so that we can all enjoy its benefits from drinking water to a relaxing canoe trip. I like my beer, so keep your trash out of the river’s recipe for delight. A pint of Sweetwater Festive Ale went great with a Green Powered performance by The Vagabonds. The performance was mostly powered by TP&S’s stored wind energy from the breezy day before.

We now have 4 core tracks laid down that we feel good about (”core” as in bass, drums, and keys).  So far we have recorded “Happy”, “Slow Me Down”, “Fallin’”, and “Wisdom”.  Laura and Debrissa are now laying down some scratch vocals so we have references for recording vocals later.  I’ll be honest, the shit sounds dope!

Last night Laura Reed & Deep Pocket (LRDP) was in Tree Sound Studios’ studio A recording for their up coming Tree Leaf release on to 2″ analog tape. We have basic tracks down for “Happy”, “Slow Me Down” and ” Fallin” More tracking to night after we all vote.
