Alternate Energy Sources
Wind: Moving air flows over blades connected to a drive shaft. The kinetic energy is captured and converted it to electricity.
Solar panels: solar cells can capture energy from the sun and then stored in a battery to power electric equipment or fed back into the grid.
Bio-diesel: It is a fuel that comes from natural oils that is used to power diesel vehicles, it can work in any modern diesel engine with out any modifications.
Geothermal: Geothermal heat is heat from inside the earth that is continuously produced. The steam and hot water can be used to generate electricity. Geothermal power plants emit less than 1% of what a fossil fuel plant does. The other side of this is that once you get about 20' deep in the earth it maintains a constant 56 degrees F and that cooling can also be used to regulate the temperature of a home or to assist in cooling freon from you HVAC system.
